Size doesn't matter!
We are very proud of our first tiny house! The one shown in these photos has now been sold, but of course we are already working on the next one!
The basis of the tiny house is a trailer of 2,5 x 8,5 m + drawbar, the inner surface is 20 m² on the ground floor, and a sleeping floor of 7 m². The height is 3m90, so it can be moved on public roads.
The floor and walls are insulated 10 cm thick, the roof 15 cm thick. The walls are built according to the rules of art: a breathing system, with a vapor barrier on the inside and vapor permeable on the outside, so that no moisture problems can arise. The facade is finished with vertical thermowood planks on a double batten, the roof is EPDM. There is an extensive electrical installation with many sockets and light points, as well as an outside socket and outside lighting.
The bathroom has ventilation, a sink with hot and cold water tap, a shower with an energy saving head and a toilet. In the kitchen there is a lot of storage space, provided by a combination of closed cabinets and open shelving. The sink has a sink with a mixer tap, with a 30 l hot water boiler underneath. Part of the worktop jumps forward and serves as a dining table. A stair cupboard leads upstairs, where there is room to sleep and where it is possible to work on a narrow worktop that also serves as a balustrade. At the bottom of the tiny house, the floor of the seating area has been raised, creating a large storage room under the floor. The sliding doors that give access to the storage room are slightly deeper so that the floor of the sitting area can also be used as a large desk or dining table. The sitting area has a large panoramic window, but the rest of the tiny house also has many large windows!

Samen met Houten Huis heb ik m'n droom kunnen waarmaken: een Tiny house bouwen! Het was een super fijne samenwerking, waarbij ik het gevoel had dat er echt naar mijn wensen en ideeën werd geluisterd! Het Tiny House is helemaal geworden hoe ik het mij had voorgesteld: scandi stijl, veel ramen, licht en het gevoel van toch groots te wonen. Dit was mijn eerste 'bouwproject', ik heb/had dus niet zoveel ervaring met wat er allemaal bij komt kijken als je -al is het een klein huis- bouwt. Ze hebben me ondersteund bij elke stap: Welke trailer gebruiken we het best? Welk materiaal gebruiken we? Wat heb je allemaal nodig in een Tiny House? Hoe kunnen we de ruimte zo optimaal mogelijk benutten? En uiteraard ook belangrijk, hoe gaan we het huisje veilig verplaatsen? En ook nu kan ik nog steeds bij hen terecht met vragen. Naast een fijne samenwerking is het huisje ook heel goed en degelijk gebouwd. Ze doen hun werk met passie, goesting en heel veel kennis! Dankjewel Houten Huis, om samen in dit avontuur te stappen :D En bonus, het is ook gewoon een heel toffe bende om mee samen te werken! ;) Ik kan met hen bouwen alleen maar aanraden!
